It is time to celebrate a new academic year and the fall in NYC! Therefore, we would like to invite you to join our informal social gathering and join to our Happy Hour with the German and Hungarian Science Communities in New York.

The German Academic International Network (GAIN), is a network for German, mostly early-career researchers working in the US and Canada. Its over 5500 members regularly meet in over 45 local chapters in North America, attend workshops and conferences, receive a monthly newsletter and can apply for travel grants.
The New York Hungarian Science Society is a network of accomplished and early-career researchers active in the Tri-State. The NYHSS organizes monthly meetings in New York, manages and fundraises for it’s own scholarship program supporting young researchers. It is one of the Hungarian science networks in the US (Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco).
Please spread the word, and join us for this upcoming event, with a perfect opportunity for great conversations and networking.
Draught 55 is a hip spot in Midtown with elevated bar food and a rotating list of 42 local and international craft beers on tap. Special surprise tasting: Hungarian Furmint wine (Beres Furmint 2014) will be available at the start.
Hopefully, see you soon!
