Internship Opportunity with GAIN 2021
We are currently accepting applications for a summer internship at our New York office, starting May 1 or June 1 to August 31 or September 30, 2021.
The internship involves assisting with organizing the 21th Annual GAIN Conference of German Researchers – the largest forum for German PhD students, postdocs, and professors working in North America. A significant portion of the conference consists of a large career fair with over 100 exhibitors from all areas of the German research landscape.
Duties will entail a wide spectrum of tasks from helping with web site content www.gain-network.org, social media activity as well as organizational and planning activities.
We are looking for applicants who
- Are fluent in English and have strong German language skills
- Have an interest in higher education and science policy
- Like working in an office environment and are highly organized
Applicants must have a valid US work permit. We cannot sponsor a visa.
Interns will receive a stipend of $750/month.
